Your monthly subscription fee covers all aspects of boat ownership including mooring fees, maintenance, cleaning and insurance. If damage occurs whilst you have a boat on charter you may be required to pay the excess on the insurance policy for any damage, repair or replacement. The membership subscription rate will remain fixed for the first 12 months of your membership. New Member Sea Trial All new members are required to carry out sea trial and familiarisation session prior to signing a Go-Sail.je 15 membership contract. This session provides both parties with the opportunity to meet and get to know each other whilst you become familiar with the boats. If you have completed the Go-Sail.je RYA Day Skipper or Coastal Skipper course and only wish to use the sailing yachts, or if you have completed the Go-Sail.je RYA Powerboat Level 2 course and only wish to use the RIB a new member sea trial is not required. |

Qualifications & Cruising Ground
In order to use the Go-Sail.je yachts members must have passed as a minimum the RYA Day Skipper practical certificate. This allows you to visit all of the Channel islands and the adjacent coast of France as well as Jersey's Territorial waters (including the Les Minquiers and Les Ecrehous offshore reefs). However we recognise that this certificate isn't the only evidence of ability, therefore if you have a sufficient level of knowledge, experience and competency please contact us to discuss your membership options.
In order to use Go-Sail.je RIBs or motorboats within Jersey's territorial waters (this includes Les Minquiers and Les Ecrehous offshore reefs) members must have passed, as a minimum, the RYA Powerboat Level 2 or International Certificate of Competence with power (ICC). If you have completed the RYA Intermediate or Advanced Powerboat course or an RYA Day Skipper course you are then able to take the boats further afield to the other Channel Islands and the adjacent coast of France. As with our yachts we appreciate that these certificates aren't the only evidence of ability so if you do have sufficient knowledge, experience and level of competency please contact us to discuss your membership options.
